LOW-E Reflective Insulation

Low-E® Insulation is the perfect solution for steel building applications of all shapes and sizes. Low-E Insulation installed by itself performs as an insulation, thermal break and vapor barrier. Low-E is often installed in combination with traditional mass insulation to achieve High R-Systems. Low-E is also very effective when installed in retrofit applications when additional insulation is required in existing steel buildings. Low-E insulation products come with numerous features and benefits designed specifically for today’s steel building professionals.

Environmentally Safe Products, Inc. produces the ESP Low-E® line of reflective foil insulation. Low-E is produced from non-toxic polyethylene foam heat laminated between two surfaces of 99.4% pure aluminum facings. Low-E reflective insulation resists all three types of heat transfer: convection, conduction, and radiation. This space age product also provides a full vapor barrier with sound deadening properties. Low-E foil insulation is primarily used in general construction, under roofing, attic spaces, crawl spaces, or in walls, as part of the steel buildings insulation system. Other uses include HVAC systems, auto/boat/rv insulation, and packaging products. Commercial steel buildings and post frame buildings are also areas that can benefit from Low-E Insulation.

Large lightweight rolls allow for easy installation, and offer much more product for your shipping dollar. Low-E is successfully distributed throughout the 50 states as well as numerous countries and regions.

FOR UNDER SLAB APPLICATIONS. Slab-Shield insulation was designed specifically for use under concrete slabs. This product gives you a vapor barrier and significant thermal performance in one user friendly product. It has a layer of close cell polyethylene foam applied to both sides of our 97% pure aluminum. The closed cell foam is a vapor barrier and protects the foil from the chemical reaction that would occur with uncured concrete. Another difference between Slab-Shield and foam boards is its ability to mold itself to the contours of your grade. Slab-Shield is flexible enough to adjust to the high and low areas helping to create a stronger finished concrete pour. Slab-Shield also does not crack or crumble when faced with the normal abuses the job site may present.
